Practice, Middle school race and Mt SAC

We will practice today, Thursday, at Kimball from 4:30-6. The high schools have a league meet at Arroyo so the trails will be closed.

Tomorrow, Friday, we are hosting the middle school race at Arroyo. We need to be there by 3 to set up...mark the course, put up flags, make the finish shoot. Then we'll need course monitors and finish line help. First race will be at 3:45. This is just a work out for us because many of our runners are going to Mt SAC on Sunday, so please be there either way..we need all the help we can get to run a smooth race.

Sunday we need to be at Mt SAC between 7 and 7:30 am. Check your e-mail for more details.

It is supposed to rain this week. We still practice unless there is lightning. I will send out an e-mail if/when practices are cancelled. If you don't hear from me, then we still have practice/meets.

Some helpful hints for rainy day running:

-bring a plastic bag for wet/muddy things after practice
-bring a towel to save your seats from the mud and/or to dry wet heads
-bring extra socks and shoes for after practice
-bring WARM clothes for the way home, even if you plan to go straight home..even 20 minutes in cold wet clothes can be a bummer
